Our 1 ton Daikin split ACs currently cost Rs 240,000 to Rs 280,000, depending on inverter or non-inverter and heat & cool or cool only. Installation is quoted separately.

Is a 1 ton AC enough for my room?

For a normal room up to about 150 sq ft, yes. If the room is on the top floor, gets strong afternoon sun or is often full of people, choose 1.5 ton.

How many watts does a 1 ton AC use?

Daikin rates the FTXC35DV1B inverter at about 1,045 W and the FTV35CV19 non-inverter at about 1,100 W at full cooling. An inverter uses less once the room is cool because it slows down instead of switching off.
