What DC inverter means
A DC inverter AC uses a variable-speed compressor driven by a DC motor. It runs fast to cool the room, then slows down to hold the temperature instead of switching off and on. Almost every inverter AC sold today works this way; DC inverter is the full name, not a separate type.

Don't compare on price alone
Two 1.5 ton inverters can differ a lot in price, efficiency and build. An AC that costs less upfront but uses more electricity every summer can cost more over its life. Compare the rated power input and seasonal rating side by side, and ask whether the price includes installation.
Check the full model code of both indoor and outdoor units on any quote. A cheaper price sometimes means a different outdoor unit, an older model or no official warranty.
