What changes the price
- Size: each step up in tonnage adds cost.
- Inverter vs non-inverter: inverters cost more upfront and less to run.
- Heat & cool vs cool only: heat pump models cost a little more.
- Type: cassette, floor standing and ducted units cost more than wall splits because they cover larger spaces.
- Exchange rate: Daikin units are imported, so prices follow the dollar.
- Installation: pipe length, brackets and wiring are quoted separately.
